Your face says it all! What a sweet post and child! Thanks for your comment on my blog! I have actually had some people tell me they used the flexible silicone molds. As long as your mold is made for use in an oven you should be okay! You should check and see. I think some are made to be in an oven up to 350 degress or so. I personally have not used one to melt crayons in though. You can also use a regular muffin tin.
